In Chawosaurian Politics, the Buggery Act of 2018 was a failed purposed law that would've oppressed the sexual practices of Homosexuality in Chawosauria. Written by Schwartz Bismarck, Joseph Schultz, Edward Muskie, and was stamped approval by Jonathan Brunswick on November 11, 2017. On December 31, 2017, the Buggery Act of 2018 got wiped out by the Chawosaurian Voters in a landslide in the Act's Referendum. This is the second time Chawosaurian Conservatives have failed to Criminalize Homosexuality as a Criminal Offense.

After the Conservatives met defeat, they attempted to have the results overturned, but the attempts were unsuccessful and the Buggery Act never became law. Reversing the popular vote result in another referendum is against the law in Chawosauria.

Results of the Buggery Referendum, 2017[]

Choices Popular Vote Percentage
Keep Homosexuality Legal 51,573,578,895,465 100%
Make Homosexuality Illegal 3 0%
Don't Know 5 0%

In the Buggery Referendum, the Pro-Homosexuality voters defeated the Buggery Act of 2018 on December 31, 2017. The Conservatives attempted to call this result "voter fraud" and attempted to sue to investigate such potential fraud, but was rejected by the courts and the results were certified and the Buggery Act is now blocked from becoming law. Overturning the results in another referendum is illegal under Chawosaurian Law.
