Capital and largest city of the Chawosaurian world
Chawopolis City, commonly known as Chawopolis, is the capital city and sustainable city of the Empire of Chawosauria located at Devon Island, one of the islands of Queen Elizabeth Islands at the Canadian territory of Nunavut. It has always been a city, even though it suffered severe damage from the Chawo-Wolfsberg War. It is a multiracial and multicultural city, the most social democratic city in Chawosaurian history, a sustainable city, the city is one of those places in Chawosauria not suffering from the Great Blackout. The City is home of the arts, politics, military, and a great economy. The government of the city is the Chawosaurian Imperial Government, it does not have a government of its own. Shang Jong Parker, the Supreme Leader of the Empire of Chawosauria since 2020, is the city's mayor and he was elected in the 2019 Chawosaurian direct election by a wide margin, and the Imperial Assembly of the Chawopolis Palace is the city's council, it holds a Chawosaurian Communist Party supermajority of 893-107, elected in the 2019 Chawosaurian legislative elections.
Chawopolis was founded as Chawalliankalita before 2552 BCE, and throughout its history, it is the capital of the Chawopolis Palace, where the Emperor always rules. Chawopolis was given its name in 1870 by Emperor Johnathan Saint Nicholas Montgomery during the Chawo-Wolfsberg War. The city was damaged by war in 1895 but was rebuilt and was going through industrialization and development in the 20th century, which caused rapid pollution, which it caused an epidemic of cancer in the city. During the 20th century, construction and manufacturing were dominant industries in the city due to the city being developed and urbanized, the city's inhabitants were all workers who built the city to its present glory, but all lived in and old filthy mobile homes and trailer parks built by the people of Chawopolis.
