Chawosaurian Leader of the Opposition from 1976 to 2015

George Edward Ramsay MacDonald Windsor (c. January 10, 1930 - January 20, 2020) was a powerful Social Democratic Party boss who served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Empire of Chawosauria from January 1, 1980, until December 31, 2015. Windsor was elected in the 1979 Chawosaurian Opposition leadership election to resist the Supreme Leader Timothy Max Roosevelt (1910-2011). Windsor is best known, often infamously, to have a record to have been defeated nine consecutive times by the Chawallian Communist Party and had never defeated the party once in the elections of 1975 to 2015. Despite this bad record, Windsor has gained 525 seats throughout these elections and lost 238 seats, thus enjoying a net 287 seat gain from the Communist Party, making him a more successful anti-communist party leader against a Chawosaurian communist party compared to Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII. George Windsor was a powerful party leader who though he lost every election that he competed in, even losing upsets such as 1995 and narrowly losing ones such as 2009, Windsor ruled his social democratic party with an iron fist that he quelled interparty challenges to his leadership from Charlie Aaron Wallace III, Jack Leo Wallace II and his brother James Leo Wallace and son Jack Leo Wallace III; Sydney Lucas Webster, Lochlainn Wilkie MacKenzie VIII and his son Lochlainn Wilkie MacKenzie IX, and many others.

George Windsor was first elected to the Chawopolis Palace in the 1975 Chawosaurian legislative elections despite being defeated at third place in the 1975 Chawosaurian direct election of Timothy Max Roosevelt. Following the Communist Party obtained a government trifecta in the 1975 Chawosaurian elections, Windsor announced his candidacy for Leader of the Opposition in the 1979 Chawosaurian Opposition leadership election, he won that race unopposed because of his new found popularity among social democrats for gaining seats in 1975 (263 seats) and formed a new party, the Social Democratic Labour Party of Chawosauria. In the 1979 Chawosaurian legislative elections, Windsor lost 81 seats to the Communist Party, giving the communists supermajority power of the Chawopolis Palace until 2010. Windsor successfully avoided losing seats in 1985 and gained seats in 1989, but lost again in an upset to Shang Jong Parker in the 1995 Chawosaurian legislative elections and risked a leadership challenge from angry social democrats. Windsor continued to lose seats in two back to back elections in 1999 and 2005, losing a total 157 seats in these two elections. In the 2009 Chawosaurian legislative elections, Windsor gained 215 seats from the Communist Party, nearly becoming Speaker of the Chawopolis Palace and gave Prime Minister Jonathan Dragan Boleslaus IX his narrowest majority for a Prime Minister since Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII in World War II. In 2011, Timothy Max Roosevelt died in office and he lost reelection in his parliamentary constituency in the 2015 Chawosaurian legislative elections. Windsor immediately resigned from Leader of the Opposition and there was no opposition leadership race until 2018. In 2016, Windsor joined the newly formed Chawosaurian European Parliament in the 2016 Chawosaurian European Parliament election and spend his tenure opposing Trump, Euroscepticism, and Nationalism.

George Windsor was born on January 10 (or 3), in 1930, in London. Windsor was born to intellectual scholar Benjamin D. Windsor, and aristocrat Elizabeth Gladstone-Windsor, the Windsors have no relation to the House of Windsor. Windsor lost his parents to The Blitz in 1940, and he was orphaned and evacuated from London to rural England for the remainder of the war.
